I first saw the Viral like trailer for JCVD a few months ago. There was a couple of smirk moments, but all and all it was a much more serious film than I was expecting. I guess it felt more like a public confessional for Van Damme than anything. I was watching a dub, as there was no subtitle version on Netflix, so I’m sure it lost a little something. All and all, I’d say if you love Van Damme give it a watch. If not I wouldn’t make it a priority. Today’s webcomic is dedicated to Cody and his amazing Van Damme impression. For the record I enjoy Timecop quite a bit and have sat through all the movies mentioned in the above strip. I actually have some fond memories of Van Damme flicks. One of my uncles is a big Van Damme fan and would play hooky at my younger cousins’ birthdays by using taking me to the movies as an excuse to get away. I know, I know, watching JCVD movies with your uncle is just how the molestation stories start, but this was a fairly innocent part of my childhood.
Anyway today’s blog is a little short so I give you one the interweb’s more classic moments of hilarity Dancing Van Damme gifs:

Can’t believe there wasn’t a Parkinson’s joke in there.
I would have loved a clip of a parkinson’ed Fox doing some special parkinson’s martial arts on JCVD.
Good to know for the future Parkinson’s jokes among audience not only tolerated but preferred.
Hahaha, I came to make a comment that I had semi expected shaking lines around “Meefly,” beat me to the punch…. I did however crack up at “88 in 1985.”
Seriously. How could there *not* be a parkinson’s joke in there.
thank you matt!
I kind of agree with everyone on being surprised about making it through a Fox comic w/o Parkinson’s but what I was really stunned to not see is Van Damme tradition split he does in like 10 of his first 11 movies either to impress a lady in acid washed jeans or use it to “duck” in a fight. Come on. You know if VCVD pulls you over he will park his effin Motorcylce close enough to your Driver side window so he can write the ticket in split form.
I’ll let you in on a little secret, we have more than one Van Damme Comic planned. Consider this a taste.
I have a nephew who turns up on my doorstep pretty much every holiday so he can hang with me and my kids. I would be extremely offended if any implications were made about child molestation.
Oh, and we watched the latest JCVD Universal Soldier movie while he was over recently, too. The coincidences are way scary on this one!
