Trucknutz: the dawning of a new civilization. People theorize that we, as a country, are ready for a Rome like collapse due to our excesses, indulgences and American Idolatry. I disagree. I think the biggest sign of our times is a colorful pair of trucknutz flapping in the wind as the F150 races on. People are willing to hang balls from their trucks, just to warn others that the driver is in fact someone that would hang giant colored balls from their giant truck. They then proceed to park it at their work and kids soccer games that way. Idocracy is upon us and it’s brought to you by Carls Jr and the Donald Poquiz Trucknutz Corporation. Draw a line in the sand and keep the genitals off your automobile. Every time I think of them, I picture some absurdity: the owner cupping them with pride after a long drive, the trucknutz swaying back and forth as two monster trucks hump, or the owner pushing the checkout girl from the Ace Hardware down onto his bumper, they both share a laugh when they see the balls coming out from underneath her skirt.
Today’s comic while ridiculous is rooted in reality as Don will occasionally buy and resell things he finds on the internet. And although I’m sure it was made for this purpose, Don is the first person I knew that started drawing Wang on other people’s Facebook pages using the Graffiti App. I knew he’d have a blast drawing rainbow colored balls on a baby mobile. Critique his art you may, but just know he’s been training for this day of ball reckoning for years. When we were devising the the Trucknutz Bookends I was like, ‘You need to mount the balls on wood or something’. We both laughed girlishly. This might in the end be one of those webcomics that was more fun to make than to read. Somewhere, probably in the same place in my head that the image of the Trucknutz Baby Mobile came from, I’m ok with that.

I keep seeing normal, caucasian coloured nutsacks hanging from the towbars of people's cars here in Oz. I bet you couldn't get away with boobies – c'mon, I darez ya!
