Patrick Swayze died of pancreatic cancer recently, but we’d like to think he gets to choose how he leaves the mortal existence. Unfortunately for Matt, I knew of Patrick Swayze through Dirty Dancing, Ghost and his Broadway shows. Wheres Point Break and the Outsiders and all the other manly type of movies and shows? I know, right? Well the guy was a dancer, sure he could be remembered for being a bad ass, but he was in his element dancing and being a choreographer. In any case, here’s a tribute chalk full of something for everyone.
An update on Matt, he’s back home and writing again. Unfortunately for you, I wrote today’s strip with help from Jenn. He really wanted me to work on a strip he’d written to get rid of his absence, but I was really intent on getting you guys this strip. Let us know what you think, does it work, does it not work, should I not write a strip again? I try to make a strip less about the words and more about the image and how it comes across. Leave a comment below, you don’t need to register or anything like that, just type out a comment and even if you don’t have any in depth thing to say and just saying “hey, I like the strip” you can do that as well.
This will probably be my last blog post for awhile as I go silently back to my corner and just draw again. I actually started to get the hang of posting a blog and then sending out word that a new strip was up, checking stats and making sure the site didn’t go down and basic behind the scenes stuff that Matt usually takes care of. Hopefully you guys got a little bit of me through the blog posts, you’ll get more of me through the art as usual.
