Don doesn’t see Xzibit in color, either that or he was sick as shit last night and will be coloring the comic eventually.

So they are/were wrecking my favorite game.  Due to Scrabble Community backlash the announcement in the comic above has been softened.  Apparently Scrabble Trickster will be released only abroad– Scrabble Trickster being Scrabble the TMZ Edition.  Tina, whom those of us that have gamed with her lovingly call “The Rules Nazi” (we lovingly call her in the hushed whispers of Nazi Soldiers discussing the “Bear Jew”), threw up in her mouth a little on hearing the news.  She told me about the post-announcement announcement before I could tell her I was writing a comic about it.

It’s a sad day when a vocabulary based game gets dumbed down to accommodate a lack of vocabulary.   Call me a nerd, but looking up new words in the dictionary was fun for me when playing scrabble with my parents growing up.  Maybe Scrabble Trickster has some other new and innovative rules, but as much as I love opening a new board game (I have an addiction to punching cardboard chits) I can’t imagine this as anything worth while.  Although now I can finally legally drop a Goatse on the board and get points for it.

*Typo in the strip, pronoun should read proper noun.
