In all seriousness, we love and grew up with Sesame Street and have a ton of respect for it. It’s one of the children’s television shows that doesn’t seem to be making them dumber. With the exception of Cookie Monster eating carrots, if I ever run into a puppeteer making him eat carrots I’ll break his god damn arm. He’s got cookie in his name, he clearly eats cookies.
As some of you may know, Matt has been sick for the past week and any moment he’s spent awake has been used either eating a meal or making sure that meal found the appropriate container. This means he isn’t writing any new material and hasn’t been directing me to do anything and we’ve been riding the train of chaos. Sorry for the slow notices on the posted strips. I also can’t reach any of his frequently toured sites as my browsing is blocked. (It’s for my safety… really…) I ran out of his most current PAX exploits in yesterday’s strip. Luckily our guest writer, Jenn, stepped up and wrote this with me on our date. Don’t be shocked, yes I go out on dates when I’m not drawing. I know how Matt really wanted to get more PAX strips in, but unfortunately for him we basically wrapped it up for him. I think it’s a pretty good finale for the event and we’ll get back to normal with him writing the strip and the blog and me just drawing again.
Thanks to Jenn for the comic and thanks to Tina for having the fun in the strips.
P.S. BRONTOSAURUS!!
Even as a small child I always felt The Count was talking down to us. For some reason Cookie Monster’s loud yelling was so much more sincere. The Count seems like he’s speaking to the deaf or retarded. This is another Don inspired Matt edited comic. I always like these when Don does them, and not just because it means I get to write one less comic for the week. The collaboration is always fun.
